Necrotizing Enterocolitis

 

 

The pictures below are of Grayson before and after the NEC diagnosis. They are a bit graphic so please use discretion. We decided to put these pictures here to help others in knowing what to watch out for. Once diagnosed, Grayson lived less than 24 hours. As you can see with NEC the abdomen becomes discolored and distended. If you notice either of these symptoms, please contact your staff or doctor immediately.
